The BrahMos Aerospace Integration and Testing Facility was inaugurated in Lucknow.

- So far, 180 MoUs have been signed and investments worth Rs 34,000 crore have been proposed.
- An investment of Rs 4,000 crore has already been made.
- Global defence market and self-reliance
India is no longer dependent on imports but is emerging as an exporter of defence products.
Global military expenditure has reached $2,718 billion (2024) – India has to take advantage of this.
Employment and MSMEs
The BrahMos facility will create 500 direct and 1000 indirect jobs.
MSME units will also be developed with this facility.
