RAJSTHAN NEWS : Shri Balkrishna Goyal, Special Monitor, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) inspected several institutions in Jaipur city on Friday. He directed the Superintendent to inspect the children’s home and girls home run by the Child Empowerment Department in Gandhinagar in Jaipur city and report the deficiencies found in the records as per the rules.
Shri Goyal also inspected the Government Higher Secondary School, Ghatgate and directed the Chief Block Education Officer, Shri Mukul Kaviya, who was present, to improve the cleanliness of the school premises within two days. He discussed with the students their career, source of inspiration and goals and explained about Good Touch-Bed Touch. He directed the Block Education Officer to provide a list of the total number of schools and children in the district and get the dignity box of the school pasted or painted on the outer wall of the school school.
Under the supervision of the Anganwadi Center, Regaron Ki Kothi, Sanjay Bazar run by the Women and Child Development Department, the departmental officer and Anganwadi worker were instructed to increase the enrollment of children and to provide nutrition to pregnant women on time. In the inspection of the old age home, Jamdoli run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, the arrangements were found to be satisfactory. On this, Shri Goyal said that the administration should encourage such institutions by honouring them. Food and medical facilities in the Central Jail were found satisfactory, skill training programmes were conducted through innovations and prisoners and staff expressed satisfaction with the prison system.
