On the directions of CM Bhajanlal Lal Sharma, urban service camps will be held across the state from September 17 to October 17, through which the common people will be benefited from various schemes and their problems will also be solved soon. Accordingly, the Urban Development and Autonomous Government Department has decided to give various relaxations to the general public through these camps and a notification has been issued in this regard.
According to the notification, a provision has been made for 100 per cent waiver of interest on one-time deposit of outstanding lease amount of previous years up to 2025-26 in the urban service camp. Lease amount of 10 years for free hold lease and 8 years for lease release and balance lease amount of the previous year will be 60% of the outstanding lease amount on deposit of one lump sum up to 2025-26. Similarly, 75 per cent rebate will be available in the re-acquisition fee for residential plots up to 250 square metres, 50 per cent for plots above 250 square metres and up to 500 square metres and 25 per cent for plots above 500 square metres and up to 1000 square metres.
Colonies settled on agricultural land, in which the layout plan has been approved after proceeding in the relevant sections, on issuing the remaining lease of the lands of these colonies, the urban service camp will be considered as the first camp and interest will be waived. In the plots purchased from unregistered documents, provision has been made for seven per cent rebate in penalty on grant of lease to the final purchaser. Also, residential premium rates will be discounted by 25 per cent up to 100 square metres and 15 per cent from 100 square metres to 200 square metres.
Various provisions have also been made to provide relief to the general public and increase the speed of work in the urban service camps. Area wise competent authorities have been authorised for technical examination in building approval, land use change, layout plan etc. In residential subdivision / restructuring also, various relaxations have been provided in 3 categories of area. Similarly, the land use conversion charges shall be exempted for conversion from non-commercial land use to commercial land use and from scheduled land use to various land use changes in different categories as decided on the basis of area.
Under Section 69A of the Municipalities Act, 50 per cent concession will be provided in the free-hold lease fee up to 200 square metres and 40 per cent concession will be provided for more than 200 square metres and up to 500 square metres. Similarly, a provision has been made for waiver of building map fee, under which 50 per cent rebate will be given in the approval fee in the building construction approval of G + 1 up to 500 square meters. Discounts and efficiencies will also be given in the allotment of khancha land. Special provisions have also been made regarding change of name in the records of the body, exemption of chance inspection and simplification of applications.
