Rajasthan, Jaipur: Pre-monsoon showers brought some relief from the intense heat to several sections of Rajasthan. Beginning on Thursday, there was continuous rainfall on Friday, with Sriganganagar getting the most of the state’s 50.2 mm of rain. Pre-monsoon showers are expected to persist in Kota, Udaipur, Jaipur, and Bikaner divisions over the next few days, according to the Met office’s forecast.
The state’s maximum and minimum temperatures have significantly dropped as a result of the showers, with an average decrease of nearly 5°C.

It was a lovely morning in Jaipur, with a minimum temperature of 25.6°C, which was 2.2°C lower than usual. Along with mild to moderate afternoon rains, the city saw a maximum temperature of 37.4°C, which is 1.6°C below average. The Met office reports that 30.2 mm of rain fell in Jaipur overall.
Although the precise timing of the monsoon’s arrival in Rajasthan cannot be anticipated, the conditions are ideal for it to arrive within the next three to four days, according to Radhey Shyam Sharma, director of the Jaipur Met office. The monsoon is moving into Rajasthan because the circumstances are right. It has already reached Madhya Pradesh. With a maximum temperature of 42.2°C, Barmer continued to be the hottest point in the state despite the widespread rainfall. The majority of the state is predicted to get mild to moderate rains until June 25. The Met office has declared that the state is no longer experiencing heat waves.
