Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann met Lakshmi N. Mittal ahead of the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit 2026 to discuss large-scale investment in Punjab and new employment opportunities for youth.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday welcomed leading industrialists from across India and abroad as the state prepares to host the prestigious Progressive Punjab Investors Summit 2026. Ahead of the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit 2026, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann held an important meeting at his Chandigarh residence with Lakshmi N. Mittal, Executive Chairman of the global steel giant ArcelorMittal. The meeting focused on exploring large-scale investment opportunities in Punjab and creating new employment avenues for the state’s youth.
During the discussion, CM Bhagwant Mann emphasized that the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit 2026 serves as a crucial platform to attract global investors and showcase Punjab’s industrial potential. Speaking about the meeting, CM Bhagwant Mann said that discussions with Lakshmi N. Mittal were positive and focused on expanding industrial activity in the state.
