Launching the state-wide School Chalo Abhiyan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the true purpose of education extends far beyond obtaining certificates. Speaking at the Composite School in Shivpur on Saturday, CM Yogi Adityanath asserted that education is a powerful tool for character building and transforming individuals into responsible citizens.
Teachers as Architects of Success
Addressing a large gathering of educators and officials, CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted the pivotal role of teachers in the success of the mission. He stated that the responsibility of making this medium successful lies with the teachers. According to the Chief Minister, if educators work with dedication and fulfill their responsibilities, success is guaranteed.
The Chief Minister praised the collective efforts of teachers across Uttar Pradesh, noting that their hard work has propelled “Operation Kayakalp” to new heights, ensuring that children from every household are brought into the formal schooling system.

State-Wide Launch from Kashi
During his two-day visit to Varanasi, CM Yogi Adityanath chose the Shivpur Composite School as the starting point for this year’s School Chalo Abhiyan. To mark the occasion, he honored:
Five Nipun Schools for excellence in foundational literacy and numeracy.
Five Nipun Students for their academic achievements.
Five Newly Enrolled Children, welcoming them to the journey of learning.
The Chief Minister, accompanied by the Education Minister, also inspected 12 educational stalls set up on the school premises, which showcased various innovative teaching methods and student projects.
High-Level Presence at the Event
The event saw the participation of several high-ranking officials, reinforcing the government’s commitment to basic education. Minister of State for Basic Education (Independent Charge), Sandeep Singh, was present alongside Additional Chief Secretary (Basic Education) Parth Sarathi Sen Sharma, Director General Monica Rani, and Joint Director of Education Dinesh Singh.
In his concluding remarks, CM Yogi Adityanath reiterated that the School Chalo Abhiyan is not just a government program but a social movement aimed at securing the future of the state’s youth through holistic development.
