Government revises Child Care Leave rules, simplifying approval process for women employees and single parents. Leave now treated like earned leave.
The government has introduced significant changes in Child Care Leave rules to simplify the approval process for women employees and single parents. Under the new system, Child Care Leave will now be treated in the same manner as earned leave, making the approval process quicker and more efficient.
The revised order has been issued with the aim of reducing administrative delays and ensuring smoother leave management for eligible employees.
Simplified Approval Process for Child Care Leave
As per the new guidelines, the sanctioning authority for Child Care Leave has been modified. Earlier, the leave was approved by the appointing authority, but now the power has been delegated to competent authorities responsible for granting earned leave.
This change is expected to significantly streamline the Leave approval process and reduce waiting time for employees.
