AAP Leader Praveenbhai Ram Reacts
Reacting strongly to the incident, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat frontal organization president and farmer leader Praveenbhai Ram criticized the action taken against the protesting Surendranagar Farmers.
He alleged that the Surendranagar Farmers were exercising their democratic right to protest and condemned the police action, calling it unjustified and concerning. According to him, suppressing farmers’ voices raises serious questions about governance and decision-making in rural development projects.
Praveenbhai Ram demanded the immediate release of detained farmers and called for a fair dialogue between the administration and affected villagers to resolve the dispute peacefully.
