Officials stated that over the past 4 years and 3 months, road development works worth nearly ₹421 crore have already been completed in the Bhua Halka region. These efforts have played a crucial role in enhancing rural connectivity, supporting local trade, and improving daily commuting conditions for villagers.
In addition, approvals have been granted for around 20 kilometers of new road projects in the region, which are expected to begin soon. These upcoming works are part of a broader plan to ensure that every village is connected with durable and all-weather roads.
The development drive is being carried out under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, whose government continues to focus on strengthening rural infrastructure and fulfilling development commitments across the state.
The newly launched projects are expected to bring long-term benefits to the region, improving accessibility, boosting local economy, and enhancing the overall quality of life in rural communities.
