The Punjab government has intensified its efforts against criminal activities through the Punjab Anti-Gangster Campaign, with authorities conducting large-scale raids across the state. Raids were carried out at 625 locations, resulting in the arrest of 348 individuals.
The campaign aims to take strict action against gangster networks and strengthen law and order across Punjab.
Major Raids Conducted Across Punjab
As part of the state-level campaign, enforcement teams carried out coordinated operations at multiple locations. During the raids, three weapons were also recovered.
Officials stated that the action is part of continuous efforts to identify and act against individuals involved in criminal activities. So far, a total of 46,357 arrests have been made under the campaign.

War Against Drugs Continues Alongside Crime Crackdown
Along with action against gangsters, Punjab authorities are also continuing their campaign against drug trafficking. On the 496th day of the anti-drug drive, 59 drug peddlers were arrested, taking the total number of arrested drug peddlers to 72,813.
The government has been focusing on breaking drug networks and taking action against individuals involved in the illegal supply of narcotics.
