The Sonam Wangchuk hunger strike has drawn further attention after former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal appealed to the climate activist to end his indefinite fast due to concerns over his declining health.
Wangchuk has been protesting at Jantar Mantar over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination system, including claims of paper leaks. The protest, organised by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), is demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
