UP CM Yogi Adityanath said the state is expanding direct recruitment for sportspersons while reviewing public grievances during Janata Darshan.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Monday said the state government is continuing its policy of direct recruitment for outstanding sportspersons, encouraging athletes to bring laurels to the country while assuring them of career opportunities in government services.
The remarks came during the Chief Minister’s Janata Darshan programme, where he interacted with citizens, athletes and families, while also reviewing complaints related to revenue, police and other administrative departments.
CM Yogi Adityanath Encourages Athletes to Aim Higher
During the public interaction, several sportspersons met the Chief Minister and shared their achievements, concerns and future goals. Adityanath enquired about their training, preparations and the medals they had won in various competitions.
Motivating the athletes, he urged them to work harder and strive for success at the international level. He highlighted that the Uttar Pradesh government has been offering direct government appointments to accomplished sportspersons in prestigious positions, including Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Tehsildar and other administrative posts.
He encouraged young athletes to continue improving their performance and represent India with distinction in global sporting events.
Strict Warning Over Delay in Public Complaints
Apart from meeting athletes, the CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed several grievances submitted by citizens during the Janata Darshan.
He examined complaints related to revenue and police departments and sought details about when the cases had originally been reported. After learning that some matters had remained unresolved for an extended period, Adityanath expressed concern over administrative delays.
He warned that officials failing to dispose of complaints within the prescribed timeframe would face action, reiterating the government’s commitment to timely public service delivery.

Advice on Family Disputes
The Janata Darshan also included complaints involving family disputes. While interacting with the complainants, the CM Yogi Adityanath advised families to resolve personal issues through dialogue in the presence of elders instead of allowing conflicts to escalate.
He noted that prolonged family disputes often have a negative impact on children and stressed the importance of maintaining harmony within households.
Warm Interaction With Children
Several parents attending the programme were accompanied by their children. The CM Yogi Adityanath interacted warmly with them, asking about their names, schools and studies.
He encouraged the children to focus on education, distributed chocolates and blessed them for a bright future, urging them to study sincerely and achieve success in life.

The Janata Darshan reflected the Uttar Pradesh government’s dual focus on promoting sports talent while ensuring accountability in public administration.
