Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini announced an ₹85 crore SAI Centre in Ambala named after Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee and a statue at Shaheedi Smarak.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, while attending the Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Jayanti celebrations in Ambala, made a significant announcement regarding a major development project in the city.

The Chief Minister stated that the upcoming SAI Centre in Ambala, being constructed at an estimated cost of ₹85 crore, will be named after Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee. He further added that a grand statue of the leader will also be installed at the Shaheedi Smarak to honour his legacy.

Addressing the gathering, CM Saini described the occasion as more than just a commemorative event. He said it represents a tribute to the nation’s consciousness, ideology, and collective sentiment. According to him, celebrating the birth anniversary of such a great leader on this sacred land is a matter of pride for all citizens.
