Chhattisgarh NEWS : The grandeur of the Kumbh Kalp Mela spread over 54 acres in the pilgrim town of Rajim and the well-organised arrangements made for the devotees are being widely appreciated. Various facilities have been provided in the new mela complex including main stage, cultural stage, food zone, Meena Bazar and tableau of Panchkoshi Dham.
This time, the new fair venue was chosen for crowd control and convenience of devotees, which solved the problems of traffic jams and disorder. More than 5000 chairs have been arranged for the spectators, while small traders have been allotted shops at discounted rates, which is showing enthusiasm among them.
The Public Health Engineering Department has laid a pipeline to ensure drinking water supply in the entire mela area, so that there is no shortage of water. At the same time, a full meal facility has been provided for only Rs 10. Quality food is being served at 53 dal-bhaat centres run by women self-help groups. Devotees and traders are appreciating the facilities provided at the Kumbh Kalp Mela.
