CM Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Gondwana Samajik Vivah and Mahasammelan held at Balodabazar and blessed the 44 newly married couples and wished them a happy married life. The event was held under the aegis of Adivasi Dhruva Gond Samaj, Khallari Mahakaleshwar with traditional Gondi customs at the new Krishi Upaj Mandi premises.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai started the programme by offering prayers to Lord Budha Dev and wished for the prosperity of the people of the state. Describing mass marriage events as a symbol of social unity and cooperation, he said that they are not only financially helpful but also set positive ideals in the society.
Financial assistance received by the newly-weds CM Vishnu Deo Sai gave cheques of financial assistance and necessary marriage materials to the newly married couples under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana. He said that this scheme is becoming a support for economically weaker families so that they can solemnize marriages as per traditional customs with dignity.
MoU for Coaching Facility On this occasion, an important MoU was signed between the District Administration and Nuvoco Cement Group for better preparation of students of the district for competitive examinations. Under this, students will get the facility to study in advanced coaching institutes. Besides, meritorious students who have excelled in social work were also felicitated.
Major Achievements of the Government CM Vishnu Deo Sai said that the Government has fulfilled many promises while fulfilling the guarantees of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He informed that 18 lakh new houses have been sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Mahtari Vandana Yojana is providing financial strength to women, and Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana is providing free pilgrimage benefits to senior citizens.
Announcing the construction of community buildings, CM Vishnu Deo Sai announced Rs 20-20 lakh for the construction of community buildings in Balodabazar and Khallari-Suhela keeping in view the demands of the Gond society.
On this occasion, Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma, MLA Tuleshwar Netam, Gond Samaj District President Bhagabali Dhruv and many public representatives also addressed the programme. District Collector S. Karmegam, City Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar, Superintendent of Police S. Deepa Ganiger and other officials took part in meetings.
