Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Mirzapur on Tuesday to review preparations for the upcoming Vasanta Navratri Mela and to inspect the ongoing construction at Vindhyavasini University. The CM also offered prayers at the famous Vindhyavasini Temple during his visit.
CM Yogi Adityanath arrived at the Motia Lake helipad in Vindhyachal around 11 AM and proceeded to the temple for darshan and puja. He was warmly welcomed by Sadar MLA Ratnakar Mishra and the temple priests, who assisted him in the temple rituals. The Chief Minister expressed his devotion and paid homage to Maa Vindhyavasini.

After the temple visit, CM Yogi Adityanath held a detailed review meeting with officials, including District Magistrate Pawan Kumar Gangwar, regarding the Navratri Mela preparations. The meeting focused on ensuring security, cleanliness, and essential arrangements for thousands of devotees expected to participate in the festival. The Chief Minister emphasized that the arrangements must be flawless so that pilgrims do not face any difficulties during the mela.

Inspection of Vindhyavasini University
Following the mela preparations review, CM Yogi Adityanath inspected the ongoing construction at Maa Vindhyavasini University in Devari Kala, Madihan area. He reviewed the administrative building, hostels, and other ongoing projects. The Chief Minister instructed officials to complete the construction on time and maintain high quality standards.
During the visit, CM Yogi Adityanath also met with Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shobha Gaud to review the university’s academic and administrative progress. After approximately 40 minutes of inspection and meetings, the Chief Minister departed for Lucknow at around 3 PM.
