Haryana NEWS : Haryana’s Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister, Shri Ranbir Singh Gangwa, stated that Sant Kabir devoted his life to fostering social unity and combating superstition. As a visionary saint, Sant Kabir transcended caste, religion, and social barriers to spread the message of humanity.
Speaking as the chief guest at the 627th held at the Sant Kabir Hostel in Hisar on Sunday, Shri Gangwa announced a grant of ₹21 lakh for the hostel. He praised the hostel’s management for offering a supportive environment to students and assured that the state government would continue extending assistance to such institutions for the betterment of student facilities.
He emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana government is promoting inclusive development by engaging all sections of society. The state is now officially celebrating the birth anniversaries of revered personalities from diverse communities to encourage social unity and public consciousness. Shri Gangwa reaffirmed the government’s commitment to safeguarding the rights of the DSC (Dalit, Scheduled Castes) community and mentioned that youth from these communities are being recruited into government jobs purely on the basis of merit.
He further noted that the government’s transparent recruitment policies have enabled thousands of young individuals to secure government employment. With a strict adherence to the principle of “no expenditure, no recommendation — only merit,” the administration is ensuring fair opportunities for all deserving candidates.
Touching upon development initiatives, he stated that the state is carrying out infrastructure projects with integrity and quality. The government remains focused on improving core facilities such as roads, public buildings, and clean drinking water. He added that the Public Health Engineering Department is continuously upgrading Haryana’s water supply and sewerage systems to deliver better services to the people.
