Haryana will establish 10 new Viral Hepatitis Treatment Centres to provide free testing, medicines and long-term care for Hepatitis B and C patients.
The Haryana Government has announced a major step to strengthen healthcare services for patients suffering from Viral Hepatitis B and C by establishing 10 new Viral Hepatitis Treatment Centres across the state. The initiative is being implemented under the National Viral Hepatitis Control Programme (NVHCP) to improve access to timely diagnosis and treatment.
The new centres are expected to make healthcare more accessible by offering free screening, diagnostic services, medicines and long-term treatment to patients nearer to their homes, reducing the need to travel to distant hospitals.

According to the Health and Family Welfare Department, the expansion is aimed at ensuring that people affected by viral hepatitis receive comprehensive medical care without financial burden.
