Rajasthan NEWS : The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Urban Development and Autonomous Governance, Shri Jhabar Singh Kharra said that the cooperation of all the people is necessary to realize the dream of a developed India on the 100th anniversary of independence of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. All have to make meaningful efforts together in the direction of ‘developed India and developed Rajasthan’. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, with the resolve of ‘Apno Agrani Rajasthan’, the state government is setting new dimensions of development works in the fields of urban and rural development, roads, education and medicine, drinking water and electricity.
The curbing of paper leaks has brought happiness to the families of the youth. Kharra was speaking at the grand inauguration ceremony of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Community Hall I and II at Municipal Niwai in Tonk district on Friday. The Urban Development Minister said that definitely the people’s representatives and officials of Niwai Municipality have worked in accordance with the public sentiments. People will be benefitted from this. He said that the works which have been sent for approval at the department level by the Municipal Corporation will also be approved soon and the development works will be started. Shri Kharra said that the State Government has already laid the foundation stone for Rs 35 lakh crore worth of MOUs with entrepreneurs through Rising Rajasthan in the first year itself. Out of this, work has started on an investment of Rs 3 lakh crore.
These investments will prove to be a milestone in the economic progress of Rajasthan. Water Resources Minister Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary, who was also present on the occasion, said that the double engine government would leave no stone unturned in the development of the state. The state government has provided relief to the people by making public interest announcements. Chaudhary said that the progress of every district is being continuously monitored by the department for early completion of the works of Jal Jeevan Mission.
Corruption in any form will not be tolerated. He said that Rs 170 crore has been sanctioned for the work of Jal Jeevan Mission in 88 villages of rural area of subdivision Niwai. The work will begin this month, he said. Also, works worth Rs 54 crore in urban areas and Rs 8 crore in forest areas have been sanctioned for drinking water works. Expressing happiness over the construction of the community hall, Shri Chaudhary said that this will facilitate the people of low income group to do their social work and will also not bring much financial burden.
