RAJASTHAN NEWS : With the efforts of the Jaipur district administration, the centre of faith of the common people, the temple Thikana Galta Ji complex has been rejuvenated. The facilities for the devotees have been greatly expanded as well as due to cleanliness, renovation and beautification, the temple complex in the complex gives an intuitive feel of the unparalleled splendour of Shri Galtaji Complex. It is the result of various development works carried out by the district administration that the picture of this pilgrimage site looks changed today. This was stated by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel.
Minister-in-charge Shri Jogaram Patel took stock of the development works at the temple site Shri Galtaji on Tuesday. He visited the Galtaji temple and offered prayers and wished for happiness, prosperity and well-being in the state. On this occasion, the in-charge minister performed Shramdaan at Rishi Galav Kund, while he participated in Ganga Pujan and Ganga Aarti at the holy Kund. During this, he planted a sapling under the Ek Vriksha Maa Ke Naam campaign and wished for the success of the Hariyalo Rajasthan campaign. Mayor Kusum Yadav was also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering at the venue, in-charge Minister Shri Jogaram Patel said that Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma has launched the Vande Ganga Jal Sanrakshan Jan Abhiyan for water conservation and water harvesting in the state. The State Government is committed to make Rajasthan water self-sufficient and this campaign of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma will prove to be a Bhagirathi and historic decision in this direction.
After this, in-charge Minister Shri Jogaram Patel took a review meeting of departmental officers at RTDC Guest House. District Collector Dr Jitendra Kumar Soni gave a presentation on the development works being carried out by the district administration in the temple destination Shri Galtaji. On the occasion, Shri Jogaram Patel appreciated the efforts of the district administration. Prominent among present occasion included MC Commissioner Karnesh Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal, Jasbir Singh, DCP Arun Saini, SDM Rahul Sindhu, MC Joint Commissioner Harcharan Singh, PUDA EO Navneet Kaur Bal, GM DIC Sukhpal Singh, Khadi Board Director Major Singh, Malwinder Singh Lucky and others.
In-charge Minister Shri Jogaram Patel directed the officials to complete all necessary preparations in time for the upcoming monsoon season. He said that drainage system should be ensured in the waterlogged areas of the city, the remaining work of cleaning the drains should be completed as soon as possible, the work of cleaning and restoration of water sources in the district should be done under the Vande Ganga Water Conservation Campaign. The in-charge minister inspected the cowshed in the premises and also fed green fodder to the cows.
After the meeting, in-charge Minister Shri Jogaram Patel took stock of the development works on water sources under the Vande Ganga Jal Sanrakshan Jan Abhiyan at Amgad Sanctuary and Jaggi Ki Bawadi. During this, he tied rows on trees and discussed with the officials about the management of forest tourism.
