UP CM YOGI Adityanath ji today participated in the daily aarti program organized by five archakas of Maa Mandakini at Shriramghat in Chitrakoot district. He performed Aarti on the banks of Maa Mandakini at Shriramghat and worshiped Lord Shiva at Shri Maharajadhiraj Matagjendra Nath Shiva Temple.
While addressing the program organized on this occasion, UP CM YOGI said that it is his good fortune that he has got the opportunity to visit this holy pilgrimage of Sanatan Hindu religion.Today he has got the privilege of having darshan and worship in the company of Mother Mandakini. This is a mythological pilgrimage area of Sanatan Dharma. Lord Shri Ram spent most of his exile period in Chitrakoot. Since ancient times, sages and many ascetic saints had given new heights to their spiritual practice by staying in Chitrakoot Dham.
UP CM YOGI said that it is our good fortune that the double engine government has got the opportunity to develop Chitrakoot Dham in the presence of revered saints. The state government is fully committed to giving Chitrakoot Dham its mythological and historical identity.The state government has already provided funds for the cleanliness, continuity of Maa Mandakini and beautification of Shriramghat, due to which Chitrakoot will not only touch a new level of spiritual and cultural development, but good works of physical development will also take place here.
UP CM YOGI said that the airport is ready here for connectivity with the country and the world. Currently a 19 seater aircraft arrives four days a week.The runway here is being made longer, so that even bigger planes can land. With the landing of big planes, air services from other parts of the country including Delhi, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi will connect to Chitrakoot.Thousands of years ago, Lord Shri Ram must have come here in Pushpak Viman after conquering Lanka. After thousands of years, this opportunity has come for the people of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh including Chitrakoot to get the facility of air service from this historical and mythological place.
UP CM YOGI said that the work of Chitrakoot Link Expressway is being conducted on war footing to connect Chitrakoot with Bundelkhand Expressway.Rs 1,300 crore has been approved for this. Land acquisition action is being taken. Construction of bypass for Chitrakoot and beautification and revitalization of the sacred birthplace of Maharishi Valmiki in Lalapur.And the state government is also rapidly carrying forward the development works in the mythological and historical places including the protection and beautification of the holy birthplace of Saint Tulsidas ji. Strict arrangements are being made to protect the birthplace of Saint Tulsidas ji from Yamuna river.
The Chief Minister said that last year the state government has nationalized the Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Divyang State University established by Swami RambhadracharyaNow some new courses will be conducted here at the government level. So that better arrangements can be made for the education of disabled children as well as normal children. State Government here including Uttar Pradesh Defense Industrial Corridor, Holy Kamdagiri Parikrama MargAlong with spiritual and religious tourism activities, it also wants to advance Ranipur Tiger Reserve in a good manner to develop it as an excellent center of eco-tourism.
The Chief Minister said that there is a very old bridge on the Mandakini river in Chitrakoot. Approval for a new bridge has been announced here, so that the connectivity of Chitrakoot can be further improved.With this, transportation from the district headquarters and other places will be made easier. Along with this, works on other roads here have also been taken on priority basis.
On this occasion, Jal Shakti Minister Shri Swatantra Dev Singh, Minister of State for Labor and Employment Shri Manohar Lal Mannu Kori along with other public representatives and senior officials of government and administration and saints were present.
