On the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Ram Navami, CM Yogi Adityanath has directed to organize a 24-hour Akhand Shri Ramcharitmanas recitation in all the districts. He said that this Akhand Path should begin from the afternoon of 5th April and conclude with Surya Tilak of Shriram Lalla at Shriram Janmabhoomi Mandir at 12 noon on the day of Shriram Navami on 6th April. After the instructions of the Chief Minister, necessary preparations have been started in the temples and shrines in all the districts.
CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations for Vasant Navratri and Shriram Navami with senior officials. He said that a large number of devotees will reach major Devi temples and Shaktipeeths including Devipatan Temple Balrampur, Shakumbhari Devi Temple Saharanpur, Vindhyavasini Devi Dham Mirzapur. Also, devotees from all over the country are likely to arrive for the darshan of Surya Tilak in Ayodhya. In such a situation, all necessary arrangements should be made for the convenience and safety of the devotees. Jute matting should be laid and drinking water and shady arrangements should be ensured in all temples so that devotees queued up in the scorching sun do not face any problem.
CM Yogi Adityanath directed that uninterrupted 24-hour power supply should be ensured in the entire state during Chaitra Navratri. He also said that there should be no shops of eggs, meat etc. around the temples and illegal slotting should be completely banned.
Apart from this, CM Yogi Adityanath directed the Urban Development Department and Rural Development Department to run special cleanliness drives in towns and villages. He said that additional sanitation workers should be deployed as per requirement to ensure cleanliness in and around the temples. The police administration has also been directed to implement an effective action plan of crowd management and foot patrolling as per the local needs.
