New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan just dropped a major tease, and it has War 2 fans on high alert. In a cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter), the superstar hinted at something big lined up for May 20 — which just happens to be Jr NTR’s birthday.

“Hey @tarak9999, think you know what to expect on the 20th of May this year? Trust me you have NO idea what’s in store. Ready? #War2,” Hrithik Roshan tweeted on Friday, setting off a storm of speculation online.
The post has fans convinced that a special reveal — possibly a teaser, poster, or even a release date — could drop on Jr NTR’s big day. The excitement makes sense: War 2 not only brings back Hrithik’s character from the original 2019 hit but also marks Jr NTR’s grand entry into Hindi cinema.
A First-Time Pairing
The film stars Kiara Advani opposite Hrithik, a pairing fan haven’t seen on screen before. The trio — Hrithik, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani — makes War 2 one of the most anticipated films in the YRF Spy Universe.
Last year, Hrithik Roshan gave fans a peek behind the scenes during the Italy schedule. He shared a picturesque shot from the sets — dressed casually in a white vest and striped pants, standing with his back to the camera, soaking in the lush green Italian landscape. “Taking it all in,” he captioned the photo, which was taken by stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania. His girlfriend, Saba Azad, dropped a sweet comment: “My love” with heart emojis.
According to reports, Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani were in Italy to film a “massively mounted romantic number.” A source told IANS, “When you have two of the most good-looking actors in the Indian film industry paired for the first time, you need to give the audience songs that will present them in their hottest best.”
The sequence reportedly took six days to shoot — and if the buzz is anything to go by, it promises to be a visual treat.
