Shreyas Talpade Reveals He Said ‘No’ to Jolly LLB Without Even Realising It

In a candid conversation, Shreyas recalled how filmmaker Subhash Kapoor once narrated a story to him. At the time, however, the actor was tied up with prior commitments and could not take the project forward. Years later, when Jolly LLB released and won both critical acclaim and audience love, Shreyas was stunned to discover that the same script had once been offered to him.
“I remember watching the film and immediately calling Subhash Ji to congratulate him. I told him, ‘Sir, what a film, lovely film, I simply loved it.’ He laughed and reminded me, ‘Don’t you remember? I had come to you with this film.’ I couldn’t believe it. I thought it was some other project, but it turned out to be Jolly itself,” Shreyas shared.
