Pawan Kalyan’s Pending Films and Past Projects
Pawan Kalyan has been balancing his film career and politics since 2008. He initially led the youth wing of his brother Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party and later founded his own political party in 2014. Despite political setbacks in the 2019 elections, Pawan continued to sign films with notable directors including Krish, Harish Shankar, Surender Reddy, and Sujeeth.

In 2025, he completed shooting for several pending films. Among them, Hari Hara Veera Mallu (Krish, completed by Jyothi Krisna) released in July 2025 with moderate success, while They Call Him OG (Sujeeth) became his highest grosser in September 2025. He also wrapped up Ustaad Bhagat Singh (Harish Shankar), which has yet to hit theaters.
Fan Reactions and Expectations
For years, fans wondered if Pawan Kalyan’s project with Surender Reddy was shelved, especially after the director’s last film, Agent (2023) starring Akhil Akkineni, underperformed at the box office. With the announcement now official, fans are thrilled that the actor-politician has revived the film, generating huge excitement on social media.
As 2026 begins, the Telugu cinema industry eagerly awaits the Power Star’s return, signaling that Pawan Kalyan is ready to balance both his political commitments and his passion for films.
