AAP intensifies its Gandhinagar Municipal Election Campaign with a major Borij meeting, while raising farmers’ demand for drought declaration.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has intensified its preparations for the upcoming Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation elections, with the party announcing a major public meeting in Borij village.
Praveen Ram, who serves as the state president of AAP’s frontal organisation and Kisan Morcha, announced the programme through a video message. He said the party has been preparing for the municipal elections for some time and is ready to contest the polls with full strength.
AAP Plans Major Public Meeting in Borij
According to Praveen Ram, AAP will organise a large public gathering at Shri Sadhima Mandir, Khantwas, Borij village, on October 2 at 7 pm.
Several senior party leaders and workers are expected to participate in the event. The programme is expected to be attended by AAP Gujarat state president Yesudan Gadhvi, MLA Gopal Italia, state organisation general secretary Manoj Sorathia, Praveen Ram and other party leaders and candidates.
AAP has appealed to residents of Borij and people from across Gandhinagar to participate in the meeting in large numbers.

Door-to-Door Campaign Already Underway
Praveen Ram said the party has already started its groundwork for the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation elections. According to him, AAP workers are conducting an active door-to-door campaign to connect with voters and discuss local issues.

AAP To Raise Farmers’ Drought Concerns
Farmers’ issues are also expected to feature prominently at the meeting. AAP leaders said they will raise the demand for declaring the region drought-affected and seek measures for farmers facing difficulties.
