Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra
Rahul Gandhi arrived Varanasi today to visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple after beginning his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in the Chandauli region of Uttar Pradesh.
On February 16, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, spearheaded by Congressman Rahul Gandhi, reached Uttar Pradesh by way of the eastern district of Chandauli in the state after finishing its trek through Bihar. The parliamentary seat of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Varanasi, is located next to the Chandauli district. Before coming to an end at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the yatra will pass through Golgadda, Mandir Marg, Varanasi via Visheshwarganjiraha-Maidagin Chauraha.
Party flags in hand, his fans were spotted in Varanasi, ready for him to arrive. To keep Varanasi law and order, police officers have also been stationed there.
Avinash Pandey, the Congressman in charge of Uttar Pradesh, discussed Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. According to him, the yatra would start in Varanasi, where Rahul Gandhi and the other leaders will pay their respects at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. “This yatra will start in Varanasi,” he declared. All leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, will pay homage to Baba Vishwanath at Kashi and offer prayers. Conversations will be had with Varanasi’s talented craftsmen. Varanasi is not just PM Modi’s home district; it’s also a holy place and a city that appears in old religious texts. Supporters of Rahul Gandhi’s five-point justice promise are ecstatic.”
After lunch, the darshan will resume from Jansa Chauraha, Bhadohi Road, Varanasi, and be followed by a public address at Manduadih Chauraha. Rahul Gandhi will address the audience once more at Rajpura Chauraha after 5 p.m. following the yatra’s welcome at Indira Mill Chauraha, Bhadohi. In Uttar Pradesh, the yatra will come to an end for the day at Gyanpur Inter College.
Gandhi led the yatra in a red open jeep, and top party leaders, including Ajay Rai, welcomed the venerable party leader. On Friday, Rahul also spoke to the public at National Inter College in Saiyad Raja town, criticizing Prime Minister Modi for the January inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
In the meantime, Priyanka Gandhi, who was meant to accompany her brother on the Uttar Pradesh leg of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, was hospitalized and was unable to reach the state. She did, however, wish Rahul well and expressed her hope to join them when she recovered.
