Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said that Holi is a festival of mutual harmony, reconciliation and reducing distances. Holi reinforces the message of unity that the Mahakumbh has given. Sanatan Dharma is very wonderful, and it needs to be spread to all Indians with enthusiasm and zeal. Various programmes are being held throughout the State to mark the occasion. Today Laddoomar Holi is being celebrated, while tomorrow will be the world famous Lathoomar Holi.
CM Yogi Adityanath was speaking at the launch of Rangotsav-2025 (March 7-22, 2025) at Shri Radha Bihari Inter College, Barsana in Mathura. The event is being organised by the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad. Wishing everyone a happy Holi and Rangotsav, he said that Brajbhoomi, which has been energizing Sanatan culture for 5000 years, is the Leela Sthal of Shri Radha-Krishna, where every devotee experiences his divine presence. It is his good fortune that he gets the opportunity to visit this holy land again and again.
Referring to the rejuvenation of Kashi under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Yogi Adityanath said that after waiting for 500 years, Shriram Lalla has come to Ayodhya, and Ayodhya has been developed as a grand city of the Treta Yuga. Prayagraj is attracting the world as a pilgrimage today. Now it is the turn of Brajbhoomi, and there will be no dearth of funds for the development of pilgrimage centres like Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Gokul, Nandgaon, Govardhan and Baldev. With the blessings of Shri Radha Rani, the development work on this land will move forward at a fast pace.
This time, for the first time, ropeway facility has been made available for the devotees coming to Barsana on Holi, which has made the darshan easier. Apart from this, development projects worth Rs 100 crore are in progress in the region, and special provision has also been made in the budget.
The impact of the tradition of heritage and development started by Prime Minister Modi in 2014 can be seen in grand events like Mahakumbh-2025. Prayagraj, Kashi, Ayodhya, Vindhyavasini Dham and Brajbhoomi are witnessing a wonderful glimpse of heritage and development. Lakhs of devotees came on Mahashivratri in Kashi, while the Mahakumbh held in Prayagraj between January 13 and February 26 broke all world records. This was the rarest moment of unity of Sanatan Dharma and its divinity.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that earlier the revered saints used to be concerned about the cleanliness of the Yamuna, but now under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, work is being done to make the Yamuna uninterrupted and clean like Mother Ganga. The memories of Shri Krishna and Gwal-Balan playing in the Yamuna will come true again, and this day is not far away. Brajbhoomi is considered to be the confluence of Lord Brahma, Lord Shankar and Lord Vishnu, and every Sanatan Dharmawalibi is keen to imbibe the holy dust here.
“It is the good fortune of Uttar Pradesh that three major pilgrimage sites are located here – Kashi, which is the abode of Devdhidev Mahadev; Ayodhya, which is the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, who united India from north to south; and Mathura-Vrindavan, which is the birthplace and Leela sthali of Shri Krishna, who connected India from east to west.
Sugarcane Development and Sugar Mills Minister Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Basic Education Sandeep Singh, many public representatives, senior officials of the administration and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
