Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath today held a meeting with public representatives and officials to review the development works of Jhansi Mandal in Jhansi district. The meeting was attended virtually by representatives of Lalitpur and Jalaun and officials of the district administration.
CM Yogi Adityanath directed the officials to expedite the development works scheduled by the government in Jhansi division so that the general public can get its benefit. He asked the departmental officers to motivate the farmers to cultivate medicinal crops according to the local climate, which will increase their income. At the same time, he directed the Health Department to spread awareness about the symptoms and prevention of infectious diseases in the Jan Arogya Melas to be held at Primary Health Centres.
He stressed on resolving complaints received on Tehsil Samadhan Diwas and IGRS portal on priority and directed to equip village secretariats with modern facilities. The Power Department was directed to ensure uninterrupted power supply in all the districts of the division as per the fixed roster and to resolve the problems of damaged electricity poles, transformers and damaged wires in urban and rural areas at the earliest so that people do not face inconvenience during the summer season.
The Chief Minister proposed the construction of an Integrated Complex in Jhansi district to provide a suitable venue for community events. He directed to stop parking on roads to improve traffic arrangements, allot designated space for street vendors and select suitable sites for taxi stands.
Further, CM Yogi Adityanath stressed on early completion of works of drinking water projects so as to ensure cent per cent supply of pure drinking water in all the districts of the division. He directed to complete the incomplete works of AMRUT projects in urban areas in a quality manner by 31st March.
In the review meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath appreciated the efforts of the district administration for the innovations and quality of development projects undertaken in all the three districts of Jhansi division. Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Rakesh Sachan and other public representatives and senior officers of the administration were present in the meeting.
