CM Nayab Singh Saini : Government jobs have been awarded to youth based on merit
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini stated that after the government was formed on October 8, its first decision was to introduce free dialysis services for kidney patients across the state, fulfilling a key promise of the Sankalp Patra. As a result, patients now receive free dialysis treatment in government hospitals and PGI Rohtak. The state government has successfully implemented 18 commitments from its Sankalp Patra within the first 100 days and remains committed to fulfilling its promises in the future.
Addressing a program in Bawani Khera, Bhiwani district on Wednesday, CM Nayab Singh Saini emphasized that government jobs have been provided to youth based purely on merit, boosting their confidence. He criticized Congress leaders for claiming to support youth employment while actually creating hurdles. He highlighted that during the Assembly elections, Congress leaders approached the Election Commission to halt the recruitment process. However, staying true to his commitment, he ensured that over 25,000 youths received joining letters even before he was sworn in as Chief Minister.
Taking aim at the Opposition, CM Nayab Singh Saini accused Congress leaders of being disconnected from ground realities, merely tweeting from air-conditioned rooms. He alleged that Congress has a history of misleading politics and asserted that there is little chance of it forming a government in the future.
Accelerated Development Initiatives
CM Nayab Singh Saini announced that residents of rural areas living in houses built on panchayat land, who were entangled in legal disputes for years, have now been granted ownership rights. Additionally, over 15 lakh women are being provided gas cylinders at a subsidized rate of ₹500. He stressed that Haryana is progressing rapidly, and with the formation of a “third-engine” government, developmental work will accelerate even further.
Furthermore, he informed that the Budget session of Haryana will commence on March 7, 2025. Inputs from various stakeholders have been incorporated to ensure an inclusive and balanced budget. A dedicated budget provision will also be made under the Sankalp Patra to support financial assistance for women under the Lado Laxmi Yojana.
The event was attended by MLAs Kapoor Singh Valmiki, Ghanshyam Saraf, and several other dignitaries.
