Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said that this year is the birth centenary year of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, which will be completed on 25 December 2025. On this occasion, he is particularly happy to inaugurate the Atal Residential School of Bareilly Division. This school will keep alive the memories of Atal ji.
CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Atal Residential School built at a cost of Rs 73.25 crore in Adhkata Najrana village in Nawabganj tehsil of Bareilly district. He interacted with the students and parents, inspected the school facilities and gave instructions for the smooth functioning of the arrangements. He planted a Rudraksha sapling in the campus and distributed chocolates and school bags to the children.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the Atal Residential School is the result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, where the children of workers and those who were orphaned during the Corona period have been given admission through the entrance exam. Earlier, these children were deprived of education, but now they are being given a good learning environment and education of CBSE board. This school has been built keeping in mind the welfare of the workers, the money for which has been taken from the workers’ cess.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that education is the foundation of the nation and the government has decided to open Mukhyamantri Composite School in every district to strengthen it. Atal Residential Schools will be a model of education where students will get quality education, accommodation, food, library and sports facilities. Skill development programmes will also be conducted here, so that students can decide their future direction.
CM Yogi Adityanath also discussed the plan to inaugurate Atal Residential School in Moradabad division and informed that the students of Bareilly will take education here from this session. The government is trying to improve the education system and advised the students to focus on their studies while following discipline.
Referring to the changes that have taken place in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, CM Yogi Adityanath said that in the past years, big works have been done in the field of free ration for the poor, medical insurance under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, and infrastructure.
“While expanding Atal Residential Schools, we will develop an ideal model of education, which will be a true tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth centenary. Appreciating the contribution of Atal ji, he said that village-to-village connectivity and road infrastructure was strengthened due to his efforts.
After this, he inspected the cow protection center near Atal Residential School and fed jaggery and fodder to the cows. A large number of students, teachers and office staff of the college participated in the event.
