CM Yogi Adityanath reached the Triveni Sangam and performed Sangam-Pujan and darshan of Bade Hanumanji. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath today inspected the Bio CNG plant in view of the preparations for Mahakumbh-2025 in Prayagraj district.He said that with the vision of a clean and well-organized Maha Kumbh, the state’s first MSW bio CNG plant is ready to become operational in Naini. The Chief Minister said that this bio plant is an effort towards the resolution of a clean Prayagraj-well-organized Maha Kumbh, Which will prove to be very useful for the city of Prayagraj even after the Maha Kumbh. 200 families have got employment from this first CNG plant based on municipal solid waste in the state. Observing this plant which is operated on PPP model .The Chief Minister said that this RNG (Renewable Natural Gas) project, realizing the concept of ‘Waste to Wealth’ of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is one of the most advanced and efficient facilities for processing municipal solid waste into biogas with the latest and latest technology.
Officials informed CM Yogi Adityanath that under this project run by the Municipal Corporation, about 21,500 kg of bio CNG and 209 tonnes of organic manure will be produced from an average of 200 tonnes of wet waste generated every day from homes, hotels-restaurants and temples in Prayagraj city. The total production capacity of the plant is 343 tonnes per day. Every day the plant will produce 21.5 tonnes of bio CNG along with 109 tonnes of solid organic manure and 100 tonnes of liquid organic manure. This will reduce annual carbon emissions by 56,700 tonnes.
The Chief Minister also inspected the steel bridge being built as an alternative to the six-lane bridge under construction on the Ganga River at Phaphamau. CM Yogi Adityanath said that this time in the Maha Kumbh, this steel bridge will be the easiest means of transport for pilgrims and tourists to reach Sangam. The steel bridge will connect western Uttar Pradesh,The vehicles of devotees coming to Maha Kumbh from Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan will get a lot of convenience. They will not have to go to the city.These vehicles will be able to enter the Maha Kumbh Mela directly from the River Front Road on the banks of the Ganga. The load testing of this steel bridge being built with the courtesy of the Government of India has also been completed.4,500 tonnes of iron has been used in this 450 meter long two lane steel bridge. A 3 km long approach road has also been constructed for this. Earlier, the Chief Minister inspected Sangam Airavat Ghat and Sangam Nose Ghat to check the preparations of the bathing ghats.He said that there should be no shortage in the arrangements to ensure safe bathing for every pilgrim.
