Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that the tree is the decoration of the mother earth, do not destroy it by your actions. The earth gives us everything, we also have a responsibility to protect it. He said this while addressing the concluding ceremony of the five-day Harit Sangam Swachhta and Paryavaran Mela organised by Apna Sansthan and Municipal Corporation in Bhilwara on Tuesday.
He said that humans need oxygen to live and trees are needed for oxygen. The temperature in the atmosphere is rising, the alarm bells have rung. Due to the reduction of trees, the land is not getting coolness and the recharge level is not increasing. We all need to be aware.
Polythene is the biggest enemy of humanity.
Referring to polythene, he said it is the biggest enemy of humanity. This can lead to dangerous diseases like cancer. If we have to save ourselves, our family and the country, we have to stop the use of polythene. “We will first explain to those who stock polythene, but if they do not agree, we will use the law,” he said.
Minister Madan Dilawar said that the use of chemical fertilizers is also dangerous for Mother Earth. There will come a day when Mother Earth will say that my soil is spoiled. I am now unable to provide food. At the same time, gaumata is capable of making this soil fertile, it is also necessary to have gaumata for organic farming, so it is important to save it.
Create a utensil bank in every village, town.
Minister Madan Dilawar called upon all to make utensil banks in every village and every city. Prepare a plate, set of glasses, bowls and spoons and promote their use. Disposal use will be reduced. With this, we can also go a long way in the field of cleanliness.

Addressing the valedictory function, Shri Rakesh Jain, National Co-Convener, Environment Conservation Activity said that the work of environment conservation activity was started from 10th March 2019. At that time, the number of trees per person was 28, which has increased to 29 per person today. Even today the number of trees in India is less as compared to other countries. Water, forest, land, animals and people are in crisis.
MLA Ashok Kothari said that Amrita Devi sacrificed everything to save the trees and we need to take inspiration from her. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Rakesh Pathak said that Apna Sansthan has brought about a moral change in the environment and cleanliness in the city. The municipal corporation is also making continuous efforts in this area. Bhilwara is the first city in the state which is reusing 20 to 30 percent of the used water from the STP plant.
On this occasion, Bicycle Man of India Neeraj Prajapati, Secretary of Apna Sansthan and Mela Co-ordinator Sadhana Melana along with a large number of institute office bearers and Mela Management Committee were present.
Education Minister distributes prizes to winners of KBC contest
Education Minister Madan Dilawar gave away the prizes to the winning students of the KBC based competition held during the Harit Sangam Mela. In the senior category, Mahesh Public School stood first, Steward Morris School second and U.M. School Pratapnagar third. In the junior category, Steward Morris School was the first, PM Sri U.M. School Mandal was the second and U.M. School was the third.
