‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit- 2024 : Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant chaired the fortnightly review meeting on Tuesday to assess the progress made on the implementation of MoUs signed during the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit- 2024. Congratulating the officials of various departments for bringing the MoUs worth INR 2.25 lakh crore on the groundbreaking and implementation stage in just 3 months, Shri Pant said that effective monitoring and inter-departmental coordination have played a key role in achieving this unprecedented milestone.
On the issue of land availability, the Chief Secretary said that officials should weigh all flexible options to provide the required land to the investors. To further streamline the process, Shri Pant directed the land allotting departments to share the land allotment norms of their respective departments with other departments. Terming land as a precious resource, Shri Pant also directed the departments to consider the land demanded by investors as per norms and need of the project. He also directed the Department Secretaries to regularly chair review meetings on the MoU implementation and prioritize serious investors and facilitate their projects expeditiously.
Speaking during the meeting Chief Secretary said, “The 3-tier review mechanism, effective monitoring and direct supervision of the implementation process by Hon’ble Chief Minister have resulted in bringing MoUs worth INR 2.25 lakh crore on the implementation stage in just 3 months.”
It is worth noting that during the investment summit held from 9-11 December 2024, the government had signed record investment proposals worth INR 35 lakh crore.
Shri Alok, ACS, Energy; Shri Abhay Kumar, ACS, Water Resources, Shri Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce; Shri Dinesh Kumar, Principal Secretary, Revenue; Shri Rajesh Yadav, Principal Secretary, LSG; Shri Vaibhav Galriya, Principal Secretary, UDH; Shri T Ravikanth, Principal Secretary, Mines; Ms. Shivangi Swarnkar, MD, RIICO; Shri Sourabh Swami, Additional Commissioner, BIP and other top officials of the Government of Rajasthan were present during the meeting.
