Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann invited investors to invest in the state during the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit, assuring full government support, incentives and a strong business-friendly environment for industries.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday invited entrepreneurs and global investors to invest in the state, assuring them of full government support, investor-friendly policies, and attractive incentives. He made these remarks while addressing industry leaders on the concluding day of the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit held in SAS Nagar (Mohali).
The Chief Minister stated that the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit has successfully created a strong platform where global and national investors can collaborate with the Punjab government to accelerate industrial development and economic growth. He also announced that the state government will hold a review meeting after six months to assess the progress of all investment proposals and projects finalised during the summit.
Summit Strengthens Punjab’s Industrial Growth Vision
While interacting with business leaders during the closing session, Mann said the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit witnessed enthusiastic participation from leading industrialists and policymakers. According to him, the summit helped build trust between the government and investors while encouraging new ideas for economic expansion.
He highlighted that nearly 30 brainstorming sessions were conducted during the three-day Progressive Punjab Investors Summit, focusing on investment opportunities, industrial development, and policy reforms aimed at strengthening the state’s economy.

Reiterating the government’s commitment to industrial growth, Mann said Punjab has created a conducive environment for businesses through transparent governance and simplified procedures. He said the government is focused on ensuring smooth project implementation and long-term partnerships with industries so that Punjab can emerge as a major investment destination in India.
Focus on Employment and Youth Empowerment
The Chief Minister emphasized that industrial investment will play a crucial role in creating employment opportunities for the youth of Punjab. According to him, attracting industries through initiatives like the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit will help reduce unemployment and provide young people with meaningful career opportunities within the state.
Mann also said that creating jobs for youth is one of the top priorities of his government, as it helps channel their energy toward productive activities and keeps them away from social challenges like drug abuse.
