Ahead of Amit Shah Punjab visit, AAP MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal urges the center to release ₹1,600 crore flood relief and provide industrial incentives for Punjab.
AAP Punjab MLA and senior leader Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has sent a clear message to the central government ahead of the Amit Shah Punjab visit. Speaking through social media, Dhaliwal emphasized that the center must deliver concrete results, not just speeches and slogans.
Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal raised the issue of flood relief and Rural Development Fund (RDF), highlighting that crores of rupees meant for Punjab have been withheld for over four years. He demanded that the central government clarify when these funds will be released, especially the ₹1,600 crore flood relief announced by the Prime Minister last year.
He stressed that during the Amit Shah Punjab visit, the central government must inform the public whether the relief funds have been provided and take concrete action if they have not been disbursed yet.

Demand for Industrial Incentives and Equal Benefits
Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal also urged that Punjab’s industries be given the same incentives and benefits as neighboring states like Himachal Pradesh. He highlighted that these measures are crucial for boosting employment, attracting investment, and accelerating the state’s economic development.
The MLA added, “Empty slogans or speeches will not work. During the Amit Shah Punjab visit, the central government must ensure that Punjab does not return empty-handed. Concrete steps for relief and development are a must.”
He emphasized that the RDF funds and withheld allocations must be released immediately and industrial incentives extended, ensuring Punjab’s economic growth is not hampered.
