Minister Gautam: Effective provisions of cooperative laws of other states will be incorporated
State Cooperative Minister Gautam Kumar Dak said that provisions will be made in the new cooperative code to establish transparency in the functioning of cooperative institutions in the state and for quick execution of work. He said that our aim is to make co-operation accessible to all in the state and ensure its easy and spontaneous expansion. No citizen of the state should be deprived of the benefits obtained through co-operation.इसके लिये सहकारी कानून में समयबद्ध सीमा में सदस्यता प्रदान करने का प्रावधान किया जावे।
Cooperative Minister Gautam Kumar told in the brainstorming meeting organized at Apex Bank with officials of the Cooperative Department, advocates and public representatives That by studying the cooperative laws of the states including Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, rational provisions for the expansion of cooperation are being drafted in the context of Rajasthan.He said that provisions were considered to establish transparency in the functioning of housing co-operative societies and credit co-operative societies.For this, chapters will be added to the Cooperative Code by establishing harmony between the provisions of the concerned departments and the role of cooperation.
Minister Gautam Kumar said that based on the basic principles of cooperation in the new cooperative code, open and voluntary membership, economic participation of members, democratic control of members,The officials have been directed to amend and expand the provisions for cooperative education and training of members and office bearers and to ensure cooperation among cooperative institutions.
Principal Secretary and Registrar of Cooperative Department, Smt. Manju Rajpal said that our focus in the new Cooperative Code is to ensure prompt and fair action to the members by bringing the work execution limit to the minimum level. He said that to ensure easy access to cooperative facilities and schemes to the general public, help desks will be set up in all the district units and district central cooperative banks.
Mrs Manju Rajpal said that the new cooperative code is being made in such a way that the autonomy of cooperative institutions remains intact and the elected officials can participate more and more in the decision making process of the institution and work on the basis of the motto of one for all, all for one.
