MP NEWS : Cooperative Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang urged everyone to embrace Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of cleanliness by ensuring a clean and hygienic workspace. He highlighted that cleanliness is essential for fostering positivity and well-being. Just as people maintain cleanliness at home, a workplace cleanliness drive is now conducted on a fixed date every month. On Thursday, Minister Shri Sarang inaugurated the Swabhaav Swachhata, Sanskar Swachhata campaign, launched under the International Cooperative Year-2025, by personally sweeping and cleaning the premises of the Apex Bank headquarters. This initiative was simultaneously implemented in over 10,000 cooperative institutions across the state.
Cleanliness in Conduct and Culture
Minister Shri Sarang stated that the International Cooperative Year-2025 aims to revitalize and develop the nation through cooperative efforts. He emphasized that fostering a clean and positive work culture is key to societal and national progress. Alongside physical cleanliness, he advocated for integrity and ethical conduct in professional and personal life. This year is dedicated to shaping a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) through cooperation.
Well-Organized Workspaces and Systematic Cleanliness
During his visit to the Apex Bank headquarters, Minister Shri Sarang inspected the branch offices, clearing sections, and record rooms on the ground floor. He instructed officials to properly manage electrical wiring to prevent hazards and directed the disposal of old, unused materials following regulatory guidelines. He announced that surprise inspections could be conducted at any time to ensure adherence to cleanliness protocols. He urged all officers and employees to maintain well-organized records and ensure their workspaces remain clean. Additionally, he instructed drivers to keep their vehicles tidy and lift operators to maintain hygiene in elevators.
The Swachhata Abhiyan (Cleanliness Campaign) aims to encourage collective participation in maintaining hygiene, promote cooperative values, and align with the vision of the International Cooperative Year-2025 as guided by the Prime Minister and Union Cooperative Minister.

Minister Shri Sarang engaged with customers at the bank to assess employee conduct and service quality. He expressed satisfaction upon receiving positive feedback, with customers praising the bank’s excellent services.
