Punjab State Information Commissioner Harpreet Sandhu presented his artwork to UT Chandigarh Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma at the UT Secretariat today.
This pictorial creation is a tribute to India’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, symbolizing the Pride of Peacock – Glory of India. Crafted by Harpreet Sandhu, this artistic masterpiece highlights the significance of India’s National Bird and aims to strengthen the connection between humanity and nature.
The initiative seeks to encourage cultural exchange among various States and Union Territories, reinforcing the shared responsibility of preserving India’s natural heritage.
Acknowledging Sandhu’s artistic contribution, Rajeev Verma described the artwork as a visual representation of India’s ecological and cultural essence. He also emphasized the importance of such efforts in fostering environmental awareness and appreciation for national symbols.
