In his congratulatory message, the Chief Minister said that Indian culture and tradition have a long series of festivals, which symbolize our cultural heritage and unity in diversity. Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on the eighth day of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada, as the birthday of Lord Krishna.
On this occasion, people are advised to imbibe the ideals of Lord Krishna and his teachings of Karma Yoga and wish for their happiness, prosperity and success. He expressed confidence that this festival will further strengthen the atmosphere of social harmony, love and enthusiasm in the country and Bihar will become a happy, prosperous and developed state.
