Deputy CM Diya Kumari extended warm greetings to all mothers, sisters and daughters of the state on the occasion of International Women’s Day (March 8). He said that this day is an occasion to honour women’s rights, empowerment and their important role in the society. The State Government is fully committed to advance women in the field of education, health and economic self-reliance.
He said that participation of women is most important in fulfilling the resolve of ‘Developed Rajasthan’. For this purpose, the central and state governments are running many welfare schemes, which have given economic strength to millions of women and they are moving towards self-reliance. These schemes have played an important role in the empowerment of women.
Deputy CM Diya Kumari said that special provisions have been made for women in the budget 2025-26 so that they can get equal opportunities in every field. The goal of the government is to ensure active participation of women in the progress of the state and the country by making them self-reliant. He said that only an empowered woman can contribute to building a strong family, society and nation.
